Hi Family and Friends,
As many of you know, it was my dad's funeral today. It was great to see all the support from everyone and to hear the stories and memories they shared with my dad.
Thanks,
Nick, Natasha, and Margaret. (Oct 19, 2011)
My deepest condolence to Yew-Loong's family. I was very shocked and sad when I heard the news. It is a terrible tragedy. I worked with Yew-Loong for only a few short months but I will remember him. Only time will lessen the pain (I lost my dad last year so I understand). Always remember him the way he was.
I am a member of the Malaysian Singapore Brunei Community Association in Calgary. I never had the opportunity to meet Yew Loong but I have heard of him and his family through a colleague of mine whose daughter Stephanie is a good friend of Natasha.
At the Service yesterday morning I felt so proud of him and for his family when guest speakers gave their eulogies.
Malaysia and his adopted country Canada has lost a great son.
May his soul Rest in Peace and his memory lives on in our hearts.
Nicholas, you are now the Captain and I am sure dad will be proud of you.
Finally, I wish to thank his colleagues for their presence and support. Canada is a great country for we Malaysians who immigrated here for better opportunities for our families.
For my uncle, knowledge is power. Many useful advisement given to be a hardworking person to achieve more. Meanwhile, he often mentioned that he was not that brilliant but hardworking and never give up. By the way, he always study hard, play hard and work hard. Another thing I noticed is while playing time, he was willing to play crazily without burden. However, the 'wrinkle' appear while seriously busy doing something.
I like his 'bedtime story' as sometimes he phoned over at night. Shared some of his story about his childhood, schooling .... Still, they are still freshly bear in my mind as it was too interesting and meaningful. Without you, my previous life might not be that interesting and wonderful. So, I will always miss you. Although I will never know what will happening in the future, no matter how hard is it, I believe I could handle it as you had been passed many hard things that was much harder. ~One whom is good will always in our mind although he was not around anymore. ~
Appreciate it. Thanks for being that good and such a great person!!!
We will always miss you!!
