My dearly beloved brother,
I salute you on this 11th Anniversary of your glorious transition to heaven. Dr. Abiola Oludolapo Adebowale, blessed, beloved child of God, I bless and honor you on this day. I thank Almighty God for giving you the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 15:54-56).
You are loved and missed but we are thankful that you entered into the joy of the Lord and are safe in your Heavenly Father's hands. I am confident, that though you are absent from the body, you are willingly and cheerfully present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).
I trust that in all things (good or bad) , for those of us who love God, all things work together for good, because you and I are called according to his purpose (romans 8:28). You served God's purpose, praise the Lord! I still have a lot of work to do for the Lord before I Join you in eternity.
For now, Almighty God helped me go through the grieving process so that I can deal with the pain that helped me to move on without you. However, I look forward to the day when Almighty God will make all things new for all God's people. He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things would have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Amen
I thank Almighty God for your gentle spirit, gentle smile, kind heart, academic brilliance, your athletic success in basketball that earned you the name "eshin" in Yoruba which means "horse" in English because you always dunked the basket ball with one effortless high gallop, your perseverance through trials and difficulties, your steadfast faith that Almighty God made perfect and complete.
You fought the good fight, you finished the race and now you enjoy the crown of righteousness Lord the righteous judge has awarded to you (2 Timothy 4:7). To Almighty God be All the Glory!
Love you much,
Your Sister,
Abimbola
