My dearly beloved brother,
Today on what would have been your 68th birthday, I remember your kindness, love, perseverance, endurance and courage . I know you are having a heavenly celebration everyday with Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit and all the Angelic voices. Today, I give thanks to you Lord for you are good and your love to Dr. Abiola Adebowale endures forever. With you Lord, I will continue to gain the victory, and you O Lord will continue to trample down our enemies (Psalm 60:12) in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

12 years, wow! Not counting though. Could have been yesterday. The smile and laughter merely froze ... to continue later.

My dearly beloved brother,
Praise the Lord! Twelve years already since you transitioned into the glorious presence of the Lord. It seems like yesterday. However, when I think of you alongside Jesus in heaven, it comforts me like almost nothing else. One thing I know without a doubt is that you my dear brother are in the presence of God and enjoying the sweet rest of Paradise (Psalm 73:25;2 Corinthians 5:8). Because of this blessed assurance, I have the comfort of knowing that you are unconditionally loved, you are safe, you are healed, and you are happier than you have ever been in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus for your love for Dr. Abiola Adebowale. I give you all the praise, glory and honor as we celebrate him today and I look forward to the day that I will see him again in your glorious presence. What a glorious day that will be! Hallelujah!

It has been said that although time flies, memories of loved ones last forever.
Our dear Abiola, we thank God for your life which was largely an embodiment of gentleness and forbearance. This made some close members of the family give you the nickname "Okunrin Jeje" meaning "the Gentleman"
You are much loved and missed by me and all members of my family.
May your gentle soul continue to Rest in Perfect Peace!

My dearly beloved brother,
I salute you on this 11th Anniversary of your glorious transition to heaven. Dr. Abiola Oludolapo Adebowale, blessed, beloved child of God, I bless and honor you on this day. I thank Almighty God for giving you the Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 15:54-56).

You are loved and missed but we are thankful that you entered into the joy of the Lord and are safe in your Heavenly Father's hands. I am confident, that though you are absent from the body, you are willingly and cheerfully present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

I trust that in all things (good or bad) , for those of us who love God, all things work together for good, because you and I are called according to his purpose (romans 8:28). You served God's purpose, praise the Lord! I still have a lot of work to do for the Lord before I Join you in eternity.

For now, Almighty God helped me go through the grieving process so that I can deal with the pain that helped me to move on without you. However, I look forward to the day when Almighty God will make all things new for all God's people. He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things would have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Amen

I thank Almighty God for your gentle spirit, gentle smile, kind heart, academic brilliance, your athletic success in basketball that earned you the name "eshin" in Yoruba which means "horse" in English because you always dunked the basket ball with one effortless high gallop, your perseverance through trials and difficulties, your steadfast faith that Almighty God made perfect and complete.
You fought the good fight, you finished the race and now you enjoy the crown of righteousness Lord the righteous judge has awarded to you (2 Timothy 4:7). To Almighty God be All the Glory!

Love you much,
Your Sister,
Abimbola
