To the family of Bill Nelsch,
I deeply regret being unable to attend Dad's memorial. I called him "Wild Bill"; he called me "Big John" - both names funlovingly inappropriate. We spent a great deal of time opining about everything from bankruptcy situations to the Cleveland Indians. I was wonderful and I'm very saddened the end has come. They will always be fond recollections. I hope his memory will be an equal blessing to you.

Bill, I am so sad that you are gone. You were one of the first attorneys to mentor me when I came to Colorado. I will always remember your funny stories, your reference to me wearing the black hat when I was working for GMAC and your kind and gentle guidance. I knew if I had a tough question, I could always come to you. You will be missed!

We met Bill at the dance studio. We had great fun dancing in formations with him. It was always fun to visit his online photography studio to see the pictures he had taken of fellow dancers - he certainly had an eye for the perfect picture
