The Bardgett Family has known the Prendergast Family like, forever. The Prendergast's were one of the finest family's in Bissell Hills. The "salt of the earth" type. To Mike King and all extended family members please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of Ellen. We hope you take comfort from the shining light she brought to you and everyone in her world. Truly one of a kind lady.  Have known Ellen and Mike for many years and Ellen was a special kind of person.  Always putting everyone else first and so so caring.  The world lost an angel but heaven certainly is a better place now that she’s there.  May the road rise to meet you Ellen……☘️

Ellen was my dear friend and fellow OT for 30 years. She was always full of sage advice and helped me through some difficult life events. She was a role model for many and a truly wonderful person. Her family was her most valuable asset and it reflected in the tight relationships she had. Ellen will be missed by so many people, but especially Mike and her children. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Ellen was the real deal. Never pretentious, she lived her life with compassion, humor, and true interest in those around her. As a clinician she was invaluable in sharing her insight with fellow therapists and surgeons as well as mentoring students, while continuing to learn and expand knowledge in our field. I have known her for almost 30 years and during that time she exemplified the highest integrity. She was an inspiration to me, and she will always be close in my heart.

I am so so sorry to hear this news about Ellen! I remember her from when our kids were young. her daughter Alayna and my daughter Colleen were good friends and I remember her as being a very, very sweet person. God rest her soul and keep her family and friends especially close to him during this difficult time .
