I met Major in high school. I’ll never forget my first adventure together with him and Scott Lepak. They convinced me one late night it was a great idea to drive for 8 hours from the Bay Area down to San Diego just to go surfing for the day.

We became good friends and had many memorable moments skateboarding and snowboarding. I can honestly say that Major was one of the funniest, intelligent and creative people I’ve know.

He was an exceptional friend and I will miss him dearly.

I’m so glad I had the chance to reconnect with my cousin Major in recent years! It was if we’d been hanging out all of our lives. He was just like the cutie pie I remember swimming with in our grandparents pool.Major had grown into a handsome and integrity filled man who was open, fun, and very loving.I will cherish the little time we spent together.
So much love to Anna and all who loved him. You will be dearly missed.
Love you Major!

I met Major at around 14 yrs old through mutual friends, Thomas Jernigan and Scott Lepak. We all loved skateboarding and bonded over that. When Major returned to Martinez for High School we became even closer friends, started surfing together, listening to Reggae music, and chasing girls. What good times we had. Anna is right, Major had an infectious personality that would grow on you as you got to know him better. We've continued our friendship over the years and I always appreciated Major being a genuine person with me. Love you forever Major!

Major was my brother, best friend and favorite person in the world.

He loved adventure was handsome intelligent, very hip, styling, quick witted and hilarious. He loved everybody he met, was spiritual, kind and liked to get in touch with source energy especially when meditating and surfing.

He surfed all over the world, had dreadlocks once, was creative and directed videos that won awards at Sundance film festival.

He appreciated the finer things in life, like cars and motorcycles. He was loved by anyone who met him. I might be a little biased but I bet 94.5% of his friends agree with me on this, (let me know in the comments what you think the percentage is). but, he had tons of friends and felt things deeply.

He was a Rockstar and lover of life. I will miss Major more than words can say but I know Major will be with me in spirit forever. I love you Maj, Godspeed.
