Mary was born Mary Louise Belknap in Gassaway WV on February 11, 1931. Her parents were Donnie B. Belknap (1908-1992) and Juanita Belknap (1912-1989). She married Denver Lee Norman (b. July 17, 1929) on December 24, 1948, Mary and Denver were married. They had two sons, the first died at birth. Clifford (Cliff) was born on August 8, 1952. Denver passed away in Downey, California on December 1, 1984 at 55 years of age. Mary graduated on Dean's Honor Roll from California State University - Los Angeles on September 1, 1979. Mary's education enabled her to live a very independent and successful life, where she was able to enjoy travel to Europe and appreciate the great art for which she loved. She was also an accomplished artist in her own right. As her father, Donnie Belknap, once observed, "At age four she could draw a picture of a bird or squirrel that looked like a photograph." Mary is survived by her son, Clifford L Norman, Daughter-in-Law Jane Norman, Grandchildren, Chandra Anderson, Cori Norman, Casey Norman, Celeste Jackson and Sally Hayes. Great Grandchildren, Isabelle Anderson, Owen Gullikson, Hayes Jackson, Julia Jackson, Silas Jackson, Landon Watkins, and Colton Watkins. Mary had 11 brothers and sisters and is survived by Frank Belknap, Russell Belknap, Denver Belknap, Kathy Hall, Wade Belknap and Wes Belknap.
