The life of Okpora Chris Oghene

Mr Okporalefe Chris Oghene was born on the 24th day of May 1964 at the Island Maternity Hospital, Lagos Island, Lagos State, to the late Chief Vincent Amiteyekpa Oghene and Mrs Wawe Oghene.
Okporalefe, commonly known as Okpora and Chris, started his early education at Corona nursery school, Lagos. He went on to Uwvie nursery School, Effurun, Warri, Delta state to complete his primary education when his parents moved from Lagos to warri.
Okpora went on to pursue his secondary education at Urhobo College (1975-) and Denstone College, Uttoxeter, Staffordhire, UK. At Denstone College, he played rugby and soccer. He obtained certification in business and entrepreneurship. Until his death, he worked as an entrepreneur.
On 1 May 2015 Okpora married Onome. They are blessed with two children- Chowve (aged 5) and Toba (aged 4) who Okpora loved so much.
Okpora lived life doing what he enjoyed in the company of his diverse and numerou s friends.
Until his death, he was an active and proud member of the Harvest committee at his church, Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church, 60 Airport Road, Effurun, Warri.
Mr Okporalefe Chris Oghene passed away on Wednesday, February 10th 2021 after a brief illness.
May Our Lord have mercy on him and grant him eternal rest, Amen.
