Life is a journey : Journey with a purpose

February 11
In the heart of a small, bustling town lived Margaret, a beacon of love and strength for her family and friends. Margaret was not just a wife; she was a partner in every sense of the word, supporting her husband, James, through every twist and turn life threw their way. As a mother, her love was boundless, her patience infinite, and her wisdom profound. She nurtured her children, Gabriel and Michael, teaching them the value of hard work, the importance of intelligence, and the virtue of diligence.

Margaret's days were a testament to her unwavering focus. Whether managing her career or tending to her family, she approached every task with a meticulous attention to detail and a heart full of love. Her transparency in every aspect of life earned her the trust and admiration of everyone she knew. She was a sister who shared laughter and tears, always there with a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on.

Then, one autumn evening, Margaret's bright light dimmed. Her sudden departure left a void in the hearts of her loved ones, a silence where once her laughter echoed. In the wake of her passing, her family gathered, surrounded by friends and extended family, all united in their grief but also in their admiration for the incredible woman they had lost.

James, heartbroken yet grateful for the years shared, found solace in Margaret's legacy. He spoke of her love that knew no bounds, her work ethic that inspired all, and her intelligence that had guided their family through the best and worst of times. He promised to keep her spirit alive, to continue loving as fiercely as she did, and to cherish the memories they had created together.

Gabriel and Michael, though young, understood the magnitude of their loss but also the depth of their mother's impact. Inspired by her diligence, they vowed to pursue their dreams with the same focus and determination their mother had exemplified. They promised to live lives that would make her proud, embodying her virtues in their actions and decisions.

The community, too, felt Margaret's absence deeply. They remembered her transparent honesty, her readiness to help, and her unwavering dedication to making the world a better place. Her influence reached far beyond her immediate circle, touching the lives of those she worked with, those she befriended, and even those she simply passed by on the street.

As the seasons changed, Margaret's family and friends found comfort in the lessons she had left behind. They gathered to share stories of her love, her laughter, and her legacy. Through their tears, they smiled, knowing that Margaret's spirit lived on in each of them. Her life, though too short, was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, and the impact one person can have on the world around them.

Margaret's memory became a guiding light, a reminder to live each day with purpose, love without reservation, and strive tirelessly toward one's goals. Her family united in their love for her and for each other, moved forward, carrying her spirit within their hearts. And in their lives—full of love, hard work, and dedication—they honoured Margaret, a loving wife, a devoted mother, a caring sister, and a true friend, whose legacy would forever inspire and encourage everyone

My perception then was that you can not come closer to the family for any reason because they are ,5&6 they are always together.
Dr Mrs Sanni at close range
My first ever encounter with her personally was during an event that took place at Saki, someone told her Prof Sanni is my Supervisor. She asked me why I have not been seeing him I told her I can't explain I just fear coming to them for reasons I can't explain. Fortunately Prof was with her .This event took place on our way to Ibadan when I had a stop over and she stopped their Car to ask if I needed any help. I was shocked. Looking at myself as ordinary before a Prof and Dr. She encouraged me, advice me took my phone number and called me later in the day, she took away my fear , she called me the following day to make sure I see my Supervisor that day. I took the bold step to her advice. My encounter with Prof changed a lot of things in my life and family. She calls frequently to ask me how far. I saw her as a selfless mother and academia. Her advice and her love spur me to draw nearer the family to tap life experience and disposition in life.
She is full of life, wisdom and solution to issues of life. She connected to my wife to boost my acadamic pursuit. As I rounded up the program she told me to move on. She said if it's money God will do it.
Mummy Dayo I missed you when you are most needed. Sly on in the Lord.

Dr Mrs Oluyemisi Sanni it is very hard to refer to you using the past tense. I am still in shock but I have consolation that you had gone home to be with the Lord. You had seen and conquered by always radiating love and care. With this I have the consolation and assurance that love and care will not depart from those you left behind. It is well until will meet again in the best place prepared for the Saints like you. I will always cherish your impactful memory

EYIN KAN, ILE ERIN WO (when teeth are removed, laughing becomes a burden) I don't know how to put my words together Dr. Yemisi when I read you are no more. It saddens my heart. I pray to God protect all what you left behind and give Prof. the fortitude to bear the loss. Dr. Yemisi rest on till we meet in the Bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Adieu good night

My life with Dr Oluwayemisi Bamidele Sanni

March 19, 2021
We met for the first time on September 1976 when we were admitted into form 1 in Our lady's high School Ile-Ife. We were both in Form 1c and the journey continues through Our College of Education days, and I can still remember many of our codes together. Deep into marital lives we exchange views, gists into the night, watching our weight and health together, but so surprised we hardly settle quarrel, such a free and loving relationship, and we talk frankly whenever the need arose.
But never crossed my mind that our time together will be cut off this soon at her prime. But as her Jehovah's witness Friend, having hope of seeing her soon in paradise on earth in no distant time limited my sorrow at this critical time. My prayer is that God in his infinite mercy will uphold my egbon, Prof Sanni, Oladayo that opened my friend's womb and Oluwafikayomi my friend's resemblance, and strengthen you all to be able to bear the irreparable loss.
