Ashley, I wanted to leave you a note expressing sympathy during this time and I am so sorry for your loss. I have no concept of what you are feeling.
I hope today you can reflect on the wonderful life you made with Rick and how you are continuing to live in his honor. Rick lives through you and the love you pass onto others.
I'm so sorry another year has passed.

I lost touch with Rick a few years ago. I’m deeply saddened to see he has passed. He was a wonderful friend and human being. My deepest sympathy for his family especially and his wife. I’m sure he’s smiling down on us all with that twinkle in his eye and the beautiful smile of his. Gods speed dear friend.

It’s been two years but it feels like yesterday. I miss you so much but you are in a better place. As you always said, “the party goes on but some of us have to go to bed”.
Sleep tight and we will meet again.

I am very sad to come across this memorial for Rick. Something I was not excepting to find. I met him a few times through his love, Ashley. I remember how kind and generous he was. More importantly, I remembered how much he made Ashley happy, loved and safe. I will be forever grateful for that. I am so sorry Ashley, for your loss. My heart is just breaking for you.

Happy Birthday! Miss you so much. With you being a football fan it’s great that the Super Bowl landed on your birthday. Lit a candle to celebrate how much you were loved and how much you’re missed!

Today would have been my friend Rick's 71st birthday. I cannot believe it has been nearly two years since his passing. It seems like only yesterday he was busting my chops about something. Usually it was my support for the Raiders. He is truly someone I will never forget. Love you buddy

First Christmas in 20 years without Rick. We had many great Christmas's together with friends and family.
He would be making his "green stuff" veggie dish today. The one that is Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, butter and lots of cheese! His fun "healthy" veggie dish.
Waking up today without him was hard and I miss him so much. But he is with me in spirt! If he was here he would be wishing all his friends and family a Merry Christmas.

Thinking about my friend Rick today... i think about him often, but today is a special day. Football season begins today. Over the years football was one of the things Rick and I (and Ashley) shared every year. Whether we were together or over the phone football season was a great time. Even though Rick did not root for the correct team, or quarterback I forgave his craziness. I could always count on a heated debate over who was going to win. Rick was a fountain of knowledge about the players and teams. He could, and would inform me why I should change teams and come over to his side. We often made bets on the games and I am sure he owes me money!!
So, football this year is not going to be the same. I miss my friend Rick.

It's been three months since Rick has passed and everyday is a day without his smile. Most importantly I miss his hugs, he was always there when you needed a hug. He was the most supportive person I've ever met and he is missed.

I met Rick while we were both working for a company, in what turned out to be the final leg of our long careers in telecommunications. Shared many really fine times with Rick and our cohorts both here in the U.S. and abroad. He was so knowledgable and practical, and always willing to share his knowledge. Rest in Peace Good Friend! It's been a month since Rick has passed and I miss him so much. He was a loving husband and a amazing friend. He always had an easy smile and a hug ready when needed. Always ready to tell a joke or listen to a problem. He was a great man.

So I met Rick and Ashley at the beer bar that I used to work at back in 2018. Unlike a lot of patrons, they genuinely cared about me as a person and what was going on in my life at the time, nothing was superficial. Rick seemed to be set in his ways about his beer preference but little by little I was able to introduce him to new styles and varieties. This casual bar acquaintance turned into a true and meaningful friendship. Rick, for me, became an older brother who shared his wisdom and life experiences with me. I have met very few people in my life that I have connected with so easily and on such a deep level.  I miss Rick immensely and the impact he had on me will last my lifetime.

I have so many memories of Rick, but the one I will treasure most is his infectious smile. He had the most beautiful, mischievous smile ever. I will miss Rick and the laughter and joy he brought into this world. Love you, Rick. Hugs to you Ashley.

So sorry to hear if Rick's passing. Last saw him in 2019 when he hosted myself and Kent in Bellevue. Always had time for other people and always knew the right places to eat and the right bars. Over the years working with Rick was a real pleasure and he will be very much missed. A real gent.

It is after midnight on May 5th, I cannot sleep. I am thinking about my friend Rick Myers. Reflecting on what an incredible person he was and how I will miss him.
I met Rick through Ashley, she and I met at UNLV and became fast friends. She soon introduced us. From then on Rick and I hit it off. I have never been much of a foodie, meat and potatos were my mainstay. Rick was a food adventuer, willing to try almost anything. Whenever I was with Rick, either at his house or out somewhere he would always push me to try something different...I now, because of him, can enjoy sushi and something from pigs, not ham. Rick was always there to talk to, whether it was to console, encourage, bust my chops, or just joke around, he was there. Ricks opinion or advice was always valued and almost always spot on...there was this time he thought I should get involved in the Bigfoot community. We enjoyed guns together and whenever we could we would go to the range, or have long discussions about firearms.
He told me many times how much he truly loved Ashley and how very lucky he was to have her as his wife and best friend.
I can say fair 'seas and trailing winds-, I will see you again, cout on it. Until then know that I was proud to call you my friend, a very small group.
I love you buddy

I met Rick over 35 years ago while I was with Gabriel, we ere both competing for the same customers, but somehow found a way to put aside our business relationships and formed a long lasting friendship. We lost touch with each other, but over the last several years we both worked for the same company. Rick was an OUTSTANDING person who was an intelligent, caring, sincere person, who would always help people without question or hesitation.

I will always miss him!!!, but I know we will see each other again in the spiritual world!

RIP-my friend

Rick and I worked closely together with sales responsibility for the largest Telecom Companies in the country. He was a good friend and an associate who I always admired. Ashley was the love of his life and we had the pleasure of meeting her with Rick many years ago. I can honestly say that Rick was always the kindest friend and a very thoughtful man. We had big plans to go camping last year, but then the pandemic started and I regret that we could not get together. Rick left us too soon. The world was better with him in it. RIP my friend.

I worked with Rick for many years at several companies. We shared many laughs, conversations and memories. Traveled extensively with Rick and it was always an adventure. Was lucky to have had Rick in my life and the opportunity to meet Ashley and follow her career through Ricks updates. He is missed. A truly fine person and friend. However, he does owe me money :)

I am grateful to have known Rick. He was one of my husbands best friends and I came to know and love him too. In our 27 years of friendship, Rick encouraged and supported both David and me though good times and hard. No matter how long in between contact it was like no time had passed when we got together. We had the best philosophical discussions. Some of my favorite memories with Rick involve just sitting at Buffalo Bills having a good beer, great food, and hours of amazing conversation. He will be truly missed! ❤️

Rick was a very important part of my life many years ago. He moved to Denver and started on his many adventures, but we never lost touch (which was a good thing because I never knew where he would be living next.) He will always hold a special place in my heart and I will miss his texts. RIP Ricky.
