We miss Stacey..
Though she is gone too soon
And we miss her lovely smile
And her hand we can't touch
And a hug we can't get or give
We still have so many sweet memories of her.

She was a soft spoken
And well mannered sweetheart
Happy and smiling most of the time
With great sense of humor
She was fun to be around.

Super friendly,
She could make friends in no time
Easy on eyes and beautiful,
She attracted attention of all
Someone you could trust
She was a great friend to have.

A kind caring mom to Anna and Penny
Anna was light of her life
She loved Anna and Penny very much
And made sure they were well taken cared of.

Her heart was as pure as Lily
Calm and non-violent
She was a wonderful person.

Gone too soon
We miss her lovely smile
God has her now
We have her in our heart.

Always loved
Sadly missed
But never forgotten
We all love
And miss our lovely Stacey.

At such a young age of 29 years, Stacey's life was cut short by a tragic incident which should not have taken place. It is hard to believe that this truly happened, and in such a senseless, profoundly heart-breaking manner.

Stacey was a very charming young lady. She was very kind, who would give her money or buy food to a homeless person in need. She was so friendly that she could make friends in no time. Full of energy, she always wanted to have fun time.

Stacey always dressed up and presented herself very well. She worked for a credit union, a prestigious insurance company, several national chains, hotels, pubs and restaurants. She also worked as a Direct Service Worker at Parkland Regional Community and  loved working for people with disabilities.

She was a soft spoken, well mannered, genuinely honest and non-violent person. She was happy and smiling most of the times. She enjoyed nature and would love to go for a walk and hike in the mountains.

STACEY as her name says was a :

young woman. She was an easy to talk to, easygoing and happy person.

Stacey was the best mom Anna and Penny knew. Both of them are left behind without a mom at such a young age. They miss their mom. Stacey loved Anna and Penny very much. Stacey and Anna would love to sing for hours. They enjoyed time together. Stacey always made sure Anna was happy and spent most of her money buying her toys. Anna's rooms were full of toys. She took her to play to the parks, go watch kids movies together on Fridays, to the Chucky Cheese or McDonald's play area for hours and had great time together. They also enjoyed camping and trips to the mountains and lakes.

Stacey is gone too soon. We all love her and miss her.

Funeral Service

Her funeral service was held in Neepawa, Manitoba on Jan 19th at Calvary Chapel, and was attended by family and friends. The service was very touching and helped us heal bit. We thank the pastor, and the group for such an amazing service. We thank you all for being there. We pray that God gives us strength to heal.

Burial Service

Our lovely Stacey's burial service was held in Neepawa, Manitoba on August 16, 2019 at 3:30 PM. She is closer to all her family and friends who live in Neepawa and nearby towns. We miss her and pray for her peaceful soul. We love her and miss her so much.

Please share your memories of Stacey with us:

We would like you to post your memories of her here. The purpose of this site is to let the World know that Stacey was a kind, caring, smiling, total sweetheart and a wonderful person. Also for Anna to know that her mom cared and loved her very much.

We thank you in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Dear lovely Stace,
It was great to see Anna yesterday. She played with Penny. Both seemed very happy to be together. Even though we miss you a lot, Anna seemed to be OK. Her little brother and sister keep her busy. She is a very smart kid. I am so proud of her. Last few days have been very hard on me, all the memories coming fresh. I miss you sweetie :(, wish I would have done more. Love you always.

Hey Stace, things are definitely not the same without you. it’s been very emotional the last few weeks while putting up the Christmas tree I broke down thinking about you and realizing how unfair your not here. I messaged everyone on the government directory asking for an update on the investigation. I hope Justice will be served and I hope someone decides to sue, time is running out here in Alberta we only have 2 years to hold someone accountable and time is running out. My fingers and toes are crossed your sister or Sam pulls though, unfortunately I’m struggling and don’t have the finances to see this through or i would. I love you very much and I miss you so very much I feel like part of my soul is missing it’s like bone crushing pain I can’t explain. I wish We had just another opportunity to talk and have one last sleepover. My mind is still not processing this and I’m in such denial thoughts tell me your not really gone, but you are. sometimes I feel like I’m losing my mind. Love you my Love and I know I see you again.

In memory of a very special person
dearest and lovely Stacey,

Today is full of memories,
of a kind sweetheart,
a great friend and a great mom,
our lovely Stacey
laid to rest,
and every single one of them
is filled with happiness.

For you were someone
so very special,
always such a joy to know,
always full of energy, and
always ready for party,
You were fun to be around.

You were kind and honest,
holding no grudge against anyone,
the best quality I liked about you.
It was my pleasure and honor to know you
and you were the best friend I ever had.

But then you left so sudden
not having a chance to say goodbye.
There was so much pain,
when it was time to let you go.

That's why this special message
is sent to heaven above,
for the angels to take care of you
and give you all my love.

Happy Birthday Sweetie :)

I know you are with me at times,I can feel you or hear you, or all of a sudden a song comes on the radio and I know it's you reaching out to me, which gives me comfort. Although I wasn't there for you the last few years of your life, I know that you are watching over me, so thank you for that, girl!

Some days are harder than others and I'm still struggling with grief but know that I always have and always will love you! you are my protector - as you have always been. I share with everyone about how you used to stand up for me when I didn't or couldn't and man do I wish I did the same for you. I will forever cherish all of our great memories - dancing in your TITCHEN ! (lmao), playing on the trampoline at that persons farmhouse (while listening to JT's Bringing Sexyback),our night listening to Queen's I want to break free on repeat for hours, our time in the mountains, the 3 stupid bitches (hated the name but still proud of it at the same time lol), the hot caesar salad, making a snowman on main st. in binscarth and all the townee's gossiping about it the next morning, all the songs you introduced me to, and the list goes on! You are special and loved and missed so dearly, Stacey. I can't wait for us to meet again and continue where we left off - best friends, sisters, and dorks who love to laugh at each other! xox

Wishing you a (early) Happy Birthday!

To The Most Beautiful Beauty, I had the pleasure of knowing. I have been thinking about you for days and reminiscing on old times. I miss you so much and my heart still feels lost. I never expected you to leave so soon and it’s difficult to realize I don’t have you by my side and it feels like an eternity until I see you again. I love you with all my heart I know we had rough times, but you were like my sister, a true friend and we had a bond that could never be broken. Love you forever and ever.

Easter 2018

Lovely Stacey loved to take pictures, and photoshop them. This one is from Easter 2018.

She always loved Anna and cared for her a lot. Anna was her world. Anna and Stacey used to have great time together, sing songs, go for a walk with Penny, go for camping and to ChuckyCheese. Every time she went to buy anything, always bought something for Anna. Anna's room was always full of toys.

Stacey I knew was a wonderful person, so kind and compassionate. She knew how to have good times. She always made most out of even bad times. The quality I most liked about her, was her smile and sweet caring heart. She never wished anyone anything bad. She was a great soul. I miss her very much. Who knew she would be forced to leave so soon?

Butterfly gone too soon

Shared by Sam S on July 11, 2020
Today a beautiful butterfly
came into my garden
and flew by me.
Reminded me
of someone very special.

I thought to myself
where have you been
little butterfly.
You come into this world
as a cocoon
all by yourself
and blossom into
this beautiful butterfly
and fly off
to see the world.

What you don't realize
little butterfly
as you flutter through your days
is how you touch
those around you
in your soft gentle way.
You don't even realize
the wonder and awe
you create around you.
And the love
you give
to the flowers
and the World
so kindly.

She fluttered
her wings toward me
as if she was waving good-bye
as she headed
towards the horizon.

She looked sad
as she went on her way,
as if to say to me
"Don't worry I'll be okay".

I was sad to see her go
for she had touched
our heart in such a way that
I knew our life
would never be the same.
She had left an imprint
of all the beauty
life has to offer.

I miss my butterfly :(
I miss my friend.
