His Life

The life of Vincent Akinrinsola Osun (August 1 1956-April 14 2021)

May 10, 2021
Vincent Akinrinsola Osun was born in 1956 in Ondo Kingdom to parents Chief Samuel Akinbileje Osun a local talking drum performer and Mrs Kokumo Osun a trader.

Vincent graduated from Ondo Boys High School and went on to become a qualified teacher and taught in Osun State formerly known as Ikirun State.

After a few years in teaching, Vincent went on to start a banking career in Ado Ekiti where he met his future wife Bukola Lawal.

Vincent’s ambition and drive for success led him to seek new opportunities abroad in London U.K in the early 1980’s. After a few years of finding his feet in the U.K, he became a qualified chartered banker and graduated from Polytechnic University in 1986.

He worked several jobs to provide for his family back home including his pregnant wife who soon joined him to support her husband in London.

After working for several companies, Vincent’s entrepreneurial mind-set inspired him in mid 90s to co-found a Travel Agent and property letting company that he successfully managed for almost 20 years.

Vincent was a devout Christian - who served the LORD as an evangelist, elder and other posts.

He is survived by his wife, three children and grandchildren.
