My Dear Uncle

When I first met Uncle, he was so welcoming and it was almost always Uncle that would open the door when we came knocking for Sarah lol. I’ve always known Uncle to be very hard working but also somewhat chilled at the same time during his relaxing time. He barely complained at our noisy girly sleep overs lol and asked after are well-being. Uncle will always be missed and forever in our Hearts. I pray Peace and strength for the Osun family, our God is faithful Xxx

You were such a great man, and an example we all looked up to and I wish we had more time to spend with you. I am deeply sad and hurt but with hope that we will all reunite someday.

Rest on uncle, we all love you

Uncle Akin,
Gone too soon. Oh death, where is thy sting. Such a humble and gentle soul. Your life impacted on me in the short time that we had together. One thing that I will always remember about you was your infectious smile. Your gentle demeanour carried a calm that could still the fiercest of storms. Your selflessness in unifying the family in love by availing yourself on every occasion where it arose was unparalleled. I always felt uplifted after chatting with you on the phone. You would pray for me and my family on every occasion. Your humility I will aspire to emulate as a virtue that you exhibited so effortlessly. Your passing away was such a rude shock. Little did I know that I would not see you again the last time we met. My hope is that we will meet again at the pearly gates of heaven. You ran your race. You obtained the prize. Until we meet again, rest in peace in the arms of the lord Jesus.

I would have loved to share pictures but it seem impossible because we hardly sit together to talk or take pictures and that's because of how hard working and busy you always were when you come over to Nigeria, all to make life comfortable for your children and your wife,I really admire your strength and the kind of love and perseverance you showed towards everyone especially your relatives,a man like you is always hard to get and hard to forget now that you have left this world..
As I think about you I always see that funny lines at the side of your eyes when you smile, which make me ask my mum all the time that "are you sure daddy London is not afin (albino)",now I can only see does happy lines in the pictures you took when you were still with us. If I continue to write I'm sure I will exhaust the whole page here because I will want to give details of every little time we spent together, although not much but memorable.
Thanks for being such a gentle man with a heart of gold, you thought me a lot in life especially how to be a strong and hard working woman, till we meet till we part no more uncle. Keep resting by the side of the Lord. We all miss you
