My dearest Grandmother,
No matter what you always held a very special place it my heart. You were always so loving and sweet. You made me a crocheted blanket when I was 16 and it has been on my bed ever since. I know how much you loved David and I. You always made us our favorite cakes for our birthdays. Every fish we caught was the biggest fish you had ever seen, and let me tell you no one can cook fish like you. My favorite thing to do with you was watch the hummingbirds. We would sit still and wait as long as I could to see them. If I got a splinter you were there with the tweezer and antiseptic ready to doctor me up! I’m saddened that so much time was lost. I will always love you my dear grandmother.
